Our full-time and part-time Religions and Theology PhD programme involves substantial original research in Religions and Theology, leading to the production of a thesis (of up to 80,000 words) that constitutes a significant contribution to knowledge.
All our postgraduate research degrees may be studied by distance learning, either full-time or part-time: PhD Divinity, PhD in Religious Studies, PhD in History, PhD in History of Art, PhD in Philosophy, and the MTh and MLitt degrees by research.This may be especially suitable for those in full-time employment, or for whom relocating to Aberdeen would be difficult.
